Aberdeen Hampden in sight

- Steve Wilson

Despite the presence of a number of potential upset predictors (televised game, unusual kick-off time, lower-league opposition going through a slump), the win against Dundee United arrived in an unflustered fashion.

Finding ourselves now just one win away from a return to Hampden we at least have the benefit of a home tie, although another high chance of being moved for TV purposes. But that’s life.

It was tragic at the weekend to hear about the death of former Hibs and Celtic player Liam Miller, the passing of anyone who you remember watching play is always saddening but all the more upsetting when they die at such a young age. I expect Hibs to pay tribute to Liam this weekend when we play them and I have no doubt the away fans will join in unequivocally.
