Man arrested after death in capital

An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a man in Edinburgh.

Officers found the body of Alan Glancy, 47, after they were called to an address in Port Hamilton on Thursday 1 February. Police have now arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with the death.

Detective Chief Inspector David Pinkney said: “I would ask anyone with information that can assist with our investigations to come forward and contact officers as soon as possible.”
