Royal no-blues

It was wonderful to see the reception that Prince Harry and his bride-to-be received in Edinburgh on Tuesday. It seemed that everyone was keen to see them and shake their hand. Unfortunately that included our First Minister, obviously keen to take advantage of the photo-opportunity despite the fact that the SNP have voted to strip the Royal Family of any funding.

Still, political principle should not stand in the way of publicity. The royal couple really did light up a dull February day, though. Their popularity is unquestioned.
