Arenownedentrepreneurand star of the BBC TV series Dragons’ Den is to address an event in Edinburgh next month aimed at aspiring Scottishbased female entrepreneurs.

Jenny Campbell, founder of ATM specialist Yourcash Europe, will speak at this year’s Ambition & Growth Conference dinner, sharing her story and her passion about helping people succeed in business.

After shunning further formal education aged 16, she entered the world of banking, and in 2006 joined Hanco, a cash machine company owned by RBS. In 2013, Campbell ran a secondary buy-out enabling her to take full control of the business, then selling it on in October 2016 to Euronet Worldwide Inc.

Jackie Waring, chief executive and founder of Investing Women, which is behind the forthcoming event, said: “We are delighted to welcome Jenny, a high-profile and hugely successful businesswoman, to the third annual Ambition & Growth Conference.

“Along with her formidable track record in the global banking sector, Jenny really stands out for the work she does to support young people in business and promote a positive message about entrepreneurialism.”

The event takes place at Edinburgh’s Sheraton Hotel on 8 March – International Women’s Day – and other speakers include Professor Heather Mcgregor, executive dean at Heriot-watt University’s Edinburgh Business School. 0 Jenny Campbell will discuss her own career
