Dumbarton 40-year itch

Preparations for our first semi-final in over 40 years have been less than ideal. Off form, don’t look like buying a goal and a whole load of missing players. Saturday was no different as we whimpered out of the Scottish Cup against Morton. Hopefully a few players will be back for Saturday evening’s semi-final against TNS. If 400 Dumbarton fans making the trip to an away game, absolutely unheard of in recent ears, and the chance of writing history once more doesn’t motivate our players then nothing will. TNS will be used to teams sitting in against them in their domestic league, so let’s take that into account and have a real go. Get your black and gold scarves out and tune in to cheer us on on Saturday night – come on the Sons!
