Hollywood stars line up to attend the Baftas

Angelina Jolie, Jennifer Lawrence, Lupita Nyong’o, Daniel Day-lewis, Gary Oldman and Orlando Bloom are among the stars attending this weekend’s Baftas, organisers have announced.

The ceremony, hosted by Joanna Lumley, takes place at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

Nominees confirmed so far include Day-lewis, Jolie and Oldman, as well as Annette Bening, Jamie Bell, Hugh Grant, Sally Hawkins, Armando Iannucci, James Ivory and Allison Janney.

Others include Lesley Manville, Frances Mcdormand, director Christopher Nolan, Florence Pugh, Margot Robbie, Sam Rockwell, Saoirse Ronan, Kristin Scott Thomas, Aaron Sorkin and Octavia Spencer.

Presenters and other attendees confirmed include Bloom, Nyong’o and Lawrence.
