The Return

Eden Court Theatre in Inverness has taken a hammering in recent funding decisions by Highland Council and Creative Scotland; but it remains a brilliant arts hub for the region, and now it steps forward as producer of the latest touring show directed by former Traverse director Philip Howard. The Return, by emerging writer Ellie Stewart, revisits the classic Martin Guerre story of a man who returns home from war to find that life has moved on; and its long 15-date tour should bring it within easy reach of most Scottish theatregoers, within the next month.
