The shadow of Game of Thrones falls on the TV schedules once again as the BBC and Netflix bring this lavish eight-part adaptation of Homer’s story about the battle between gods and mortals in ancient Greece to the screen.
The series, created and written by David Farr (The Night Manager), is told from the perspective of the Trojan family at the heart of the siege and follows young herdsman, Paris, played by Louis Hunter, whose life is changed forever after a fateful encounter with the gods. Also starring Jonas Armstrong as Menelaus, Bella Dayne as Helen and David Threlfall as Priam.
