Canada’s first family enjoy India trip: Justin Trudeau sees the sites on official visit

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, his wife, Sophie Gregoire Trudeau, their sons Hadrien and Xavier, daughter Ella-grace arrived in India on Saturday for a week-long visit aimed at enhancing business ties between the two countries.

The Canadian PM began the first full day of his trip to India by taking a tour of the Taj Mahal, followed by a visit to an elephant rescue sanctuary north of Agra. The seven-day official visit is a mix of business meetings, round tables on education, women’s rights, tours of India’s sites and a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
