Jacamo owner N Brown gains new chair

The architect of Tesco’s UK revival has bagged a top-level role at N Brown, the owner of menswear brand Jacamo, above, and Simply Be. Matt Davies, the UK chief executive of Britain’s biggest supermarket, is joining N Brown as chair and non-executive director. The retail veteran will take a position on the board with immediate effect, before stepping up to the chairman’s role on 1 May, marking the end of Andrew Higginson’s five-year tenure as chair of N Brown.
