Wreckage of downed Iran plane found

The wreckage of a passenger plane that crashed in southern Iran on Sunday is believed to have been found.

State TV aired footage, taken from a helicopter, purportedly showed wreckage on snowy mountainsides. th ease man airlines plane came down in the Zagros mountains. All 65 people on board are feared to have died.

Search teams will continue to the site on foot as the helicopter was unable to land on the mountain.

The head of the country’s emergency services said moving the bodies of those who had died would prove difficult in bad weather conditions.
