CLARIFICATIONS & CORRECTIONS
l In her column of Monday, 19 February, Kirsty Gunn said there was “never any overcrowding” and there were “great timetables” on East Coast train services before Virgin Trains took over. We have been asked to point out that complaints of overcrowding predate Virgin’s involvement and that the current operator has increased timetables, with 48 additional services connecting Edinburgh and London.. l All complaints concerning The Scotsman should be made to Euan Mcgrory at emcgrory@scotsman.com in the first instance. Should you wish to take the matter further after that, you can contact the Independent Press Standards Organisation, Gate House, 1 Farringdon Street, London, EC4M 7LG
