We travel to Livingston tomorrow night needing a win, both to ensure points parity with our hosts but also to re-ignite our season. St Mirren’s weekend defeat gives us the glimmer of hope that ultimately “kills” us Arabs but it is incumbent on the players and management to ensure we take the title fight as far as we can.

We know on our day we are more than a match for any of the teams in the league, therefore the problem can only be in mentality. It is a point many United fans recognise and in my view it is the manager who imbues this mentality in the players. The great managers: Clough, Ferguson and Mclean gave their players mental strength. If we can go to Livingston tomorrow night with the right tactics and mindset we will prevail.
