St Mirren Unwanted distraction

As it turned out, the rumours of Jack Ross going to Barnsley, which I questioned last week were more founded than first thought.

The uncertainty behind the manager’s future last week must surely have been detrimental to the planning for Saturday’s game against Livingston, as no other team has wiped the floor with us in that fashion. We found ourselves soaring 1-0 up after two minutes, to only end up 3-1 down after 20 before losing another goal after that. The fact we even got one goal was flattering in terms of the spineless performance.

Looking towards Brechin on Saturday, things must improve. The signing of Massimo Donati will hopefully help the midfield and solidify our team in the run-in as we look to win the title.
