Queen of the South Great advert

-

It should have come as no surprise that Saturday’s match with Morton ended in a draw given there was only one point separating the teams before kick-off, and our previous meetings this season have resulted in a victory apiece. However, it was a better point for the visitors, who were second best on the day, as it keeps them above us and in that final play-off spot.

The match was an entertaining affair and a great advert for the division. Stephen Dobbie and Gary Harkins lived up to their billing as two of the most talented players in the league, the former producing the biggest talking point with an attempt from just inside the Morton half. Sadly he was thwarted by excellent goalkeeping and astute decision-making by the officials.
