Glasgow property rise above London

-

Glasgow’s growth in property values has outstripped London as the total value of homes in the British capital soared to more than £1.5 trillion.

Property in London is collectively more than twice the value of Britain’s next nine largest cities combined.

Real estate website Zoopla made the findings. It found the total value of London’s housing had increased by 1.54 per cent over the past 12 months.

Sheffield had the highest annual growth rate at 5.63 per cent followed by Glasgow at 5.38 per cent.
