Tortoise stolen from Midlothian visitor attraction

A tortoise has been stolen from a tourist attraction in Midlothian.

The eight-year-old redfooted tortoise called Huck was taken from his enclosure at Edinburgh Butterfly and Insect World in Lasswade on Wednesday.

The incident is believed to have happened between midday and 2pm.

Police Scotland have launched an investigation and are urging witnesses to come forward.
