O2 dials up rise in 2017 revenues

Mobile firm O2 has reported a 2.2 per cent rise in total annual revenues to £5.7 billion thanks to stronger handset and mobile service sales.

It helped drive a 2.9 per cent rise in annual operating income to £1.4 billion for 2017. The firm saw an increase of 266,000 contracts over the full year, bringing its mobile base to some 25 million.
