Grange face toughest test at Menzieshill
Grange’s unbeaten record and top spot in the first division could be in jeopardy today when they visit Tayside to take on third-placed Grove Menzieshill, who are unbeaten at home, writes Craig Madden.
At the same venue last season, Grange salvaged a share of the points, despite being three down with ten minutes left.
Menzieshill had a poor European indoor campaign last weekend and have had less than a week to adjust to the outdoor game. Grange have a competitive league game under their belts – a 6-2 victory over Wanderers. They also beat Menzieshill 2-1 at Fettes earlier in the season.
Second-placed Bromac Kelburne, six points adrift, are hoping for a Grange slip-up but must also win their home clash with Clydesdale.
In the women’s league, Edinburgh uni should keep their three-point lead over Grove with a home win over Watsonians.
