What has made you proudest in the past 12 months?

The opening of a sensory room which will give the children a beautiful sensory environment to learn and develop in. It is in Palmerston Place which was my very first nursery.

What is your favourite way to spend a Sunday afternoon?

There is nothing better than watching football and having lunch with my family. Maureen Crandles, 70, is the owner of Early Days. Married with three grown-up children, she has taught all subjects to children up to the age of 12.
