The Unfilmables

-

Glasgow Film Festival is not all about the celluloid, as this most punterfriendly of festivals has a reputation for mounting intriguing live music events. The pick of this year’s programme is The Unfilmables, at which musician and soundtrack composer Mica Levi – responsible for the brilliant, unsettling music in Under the Skin and Jackie – collaborates with her sister Francesca to produce a re-imagined score for Sergei Parajanov’s The Colour of Pomegranates, retitled The Colour of Chips, while electronica outfit Wrangler, featuring former Cabaret Voltaire frontman Stephen Mallinder, tackle The Tourist, described as the greatest sci-fi film never made.
