Lucky escape for pilot as light aircraft crashes

A pilot had a lucky escape aftercrash-landinghislight aircraft in a field in Moray yesterday afternoon.

Police attended the crash near Shempston Airfield in Lossiemouth.

Also in attendance were Scottish Fire and Rescue and the Scottish Ambulance Service.

The pilot was the only occupant.

He received treatment at Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin for minor injuries.
