Man who died in crash with bus named by police

Policehavenamedtheman who died following a serious collision on the A93 Ballater to Braemar road on Friday.

Nathan Thomas Gunn, 30, was involved in a crash between a Stagecoach bus and the red Vauxhall Astra he was driving. Officers were called to the Bridge of Gairn at around 6:20pm.

In a statement, his family said: “Nathan’s death is an overwhelming tragedy, as his death has rocked not only his family and those closest to him but anyone that has ever known him.”

Sergeant Peter Hendersonsaid:“inquiriesintothis tragic incident continue.”
