Jolly good, Roger
The journalism of Roger Cox in The Scotsman Magazine (“Inaccurate report has damaged ski resorts – and climate research”, 24 February) is most remarkable. While keeping to his subject matter, he manages to transcend it and calmly demolishes the careless journalism of the national broadcaster, the BBC, and an international research centre.
This is the best sort of newspaper journalism, rich in facts and light in opinion. He is also an instinctively good writer, which is a skill which cannot be learned. IAIN WD FORDE
