Couple in sex romp on Tay Bridge stair

A couple who had a 35-minute sex romp on the stairs leading to the Tay Road Bridge in Dundee in broad daylight as stunned walkers and cyclists went past are facing jail.

Frank Watt and Cheryl Johnstone were also placed on the sex offenders register over their public escapade on 5 November last year. They both pled guilty to a charge of public indecency.

Johnstone was spotted by a CCTV operator at the bridge performing a sex act on Watt.

Sentence on the pair was deferred until April.
