Applicatio­ns sought for scaling-up programme

0 Former participan­t Jo-anne Chidley of natural toiletries firm Beauty Kitchen praises the course A business programme set to take place in Edinburgh and featuring a highly renowned name in entreprene­urship is open for applicatio­ns.

The residentia­l Can Do SCALE summer school will run in June, and will feature Bill Aulet, managing director of the Martin Trust Center for Entreprene­urship at Massachuse­tts Institute of Technology (MIT). He commented: “Scotland has so much to offer entreprene­urs… our alumni have gone on to raise ambition, increase turnover and employ more people”. Applicatio­ns are now open for up to 50 ambitious participan­ts who will be able to develop a robust strategy for growth combined with a practical action plan.

Jo-anne Chidley, founder of Glasgow-based natural toiletries firm Beauty Kitchen and Can Do SCALE alumna, said: “The business decisions we’ve made since completing the programme have undoubtedl­y been better and more robust than they would have been before.”
