St Johnstone Murray’s magic
The chat beforehand was about it being a mustwin game. Following up the result at Parkhead with a similar performance against Ross County was demanded by Tommy Wright, who had called for the home support to turn up and back the side. Early on, a baffling display by the referee helped distract fans from airing their frustrations at the team when play broke down. Thanks ref.
Saints playing more like themselves saw the decibel levels increase with a couple of pieces of Murray Davidson magic. Many thought his second goal had been saved until they realised he had run off to the corner of the East Stand to celebrate with supporters. Like many, I felt a bit foolish joining the celebrations so late!
