Partick Thistle Time to man up

Another huge game last Saturday for Thistle, another last-gasp goal costing the team points. Sadly, it’s a recurring theme for the Jags. In the space of the two weeks we’ve had games go from big to huge and now this weekend at Dingwall is massive.

Make no mistake, Thistle have our best squad since returning to the top flight of Scottish football. But this group of players are not producing the results as a group. Earlier in the season we had injuries to blame, but we can’t use that as an excuse as the majority of players are back playing now. Some fans are blaming the manager, I’m certainly not in that camp. The bottom line is he can’t hold their hands on the pitch – they need to man up.
