Livingston Buddies in our sights

All that talk of St Mirren being promoted to the Premiership as league champions was perhaps a tad premature. Why? Because the Livi boys are hot on the heels of those Buddies. Okay, the gap is still eight points, but after consecutive victories over the Paisley side, Dundee United and Morton, we’re right back in the mix.

This season just continues to get better by the week under David Hopkin and what a job the former Scotland international is doing at the Tony Macaroni Arena. He has to be a serious contender for manager of the year given we were only promoted from League 1 at the end of last season. However, there is still a lot of football to be played, so let’s first and foremost get our play-off spot secured.
