St Mirren Livingston alert
In probably our poorest home performance of the season, including a missed penalty and a second half we’d have been as well not turning up for, we still managed a 1-0 win over rockbottom Brechin.
The adverse weather has knocked out tonight’ s game against Dundee United, which many a few weeks ago would have called a “league decider”. However, Livingston now seem to pose our biggest title threat. Having initially impressed me at the start of the season when they beat us in the League Cup, David Hopkin’s men are the inform side, and are doing their best to close the eight-point gap. In true St Mirren fan fashion, many would think it was us eight points behind with the talk on the fan pages.
