The group now owns nine practices, including the Healthy Pets centre in Dunfermline, and has been featured on the BBC Television documentary series More Creatures Great & Small.

Inglis has been trading for some 50 years and has developed advanced veterinary care concepts including a preventative healthcare plan for pets, which has attracted more than 5,000 members to date.

Chief operating officer Ronnie Soutar said: “We are incredibly proud to be opening our ninth practice, in Kirkcaldy.”
