May daze?

-

Prime Minister Theresa May has set out details of her vision for a future economic relationship with the European Union which she believes can deliver “an optimistic and confident future which can unite us all” leaving Britain “a stronger and more cohesive nation”.

This speech was a good advert for the good things about the EU aimed at keeping them sweet. Flattering to deceive? We will soon know.

Great speech making numerous common

sense points. The EU commission needs to learn that the EU is not Europe and not the world’s regulatory policemen. If the Apparatchiks in Brussels are not reeled in by the national governments and forced to reach a sensible, pragmatic agreement then no deal is the best option.

So absolutely nothing but useless soundbites from the useless Theresa May. Scotland deserves better than being governed by Middle England

Did Mrs May just say Brexit will give us control over our borders, and then say but we won’t be having one?
