Man with serious injuries dies in ‘suspicious’ case

A 29-year-old man has died in suspicious circumstances near Stirling.

Police were called to an address on Pine Grove in Alloa at about 7:35pm Saturday. The man was found to have sustained a number of serious injuries.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police confirmed they were treating the death as suspicious. Detective Chief Inspector Dave Pinkney said: “As a result of the injuries sustained by the man ... (we) have launched a major investigation to determine the full circumstances.”
