Ross County Up for the fight

-

So Owen Coyle is gone. It was the correct thing to do. Four wins in 22 matches was an appalling record and County were going to be relegated, even if it is possible to catch the teams immediately above them. The 4-1 victory over Dundee seems to have been an anomaly with the tactical circumstances – and the morale boost of new signings – falling into Coyle’s lap that day.

I have much more faith in Stuart Kettlewell and Steven Ferguson taking over the first team as joint managers. Neither has Coyle’s experience, but both have an affinity with the club, which will be crucial in getting the message over to the players to fight for the cause. County might not stay up, but will be better structured and will show a bit of fight now.
