Four sheep killed in suspected attack by dog

Police in Argyll are appealing for information after four sheep were killed and another seven had to be put down after a suspected dog attack.

Another six sheep are being treated for injuries after the incident which happened in a field near Inveraray Golf Club some time between Saturday morning and Sunday morning.

Sergeant Iain Macnicol, of Lochgilphead Police, said: “Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for any witnesses, or anyone with any information, to contact them.”
