Esure motoring to 3m policy goal

Insurer Esure Group has said it remains on track to notch up three million policies by 2020 as it posted a 36 per cent jump in annual underlying pre-tax profits to £72.7 million for 2017.

It saw premiums jump 25 per cent to £820m and now has 2.4 million in-force policies – up 9.2 per cent on 2016. Esure raised prices for motor and home insurance last year.
