Inverness Caley Thistle White-knuckle rides

Inverness and its surrounding area missed the “Beast from the East”, thankfully, but had the crazy situation of a playable pitch but no game as the police advised Brechin not to travel. I’d never suggest putting lives at risk but the roads were open by Saturday and the worst was over. Supporting a northern club I am more than used to some white-knuckle journeys and really don’t hear it mentioned by the police, press or football authorities. In my opinion this match would have not been postponed had there not been widespread disruption in the central belt.

Dunfermline away on Tuesday night also fell victim to the weather making the decision by our club not to play this on the free Saturday look a poor one.
