Motorcyclist clocked riding at 137mph
A motorcyclist has been charged after being clocked doing 137mph – almost twice the speed limit – in Aberdeenshire.
The 46-year-old man was riding on the 70mph limit A96 between Blackburn and Kintore at about 2pm on Wednesday, police said.
He has been charged over the alleged dangerous driving offence, prompting police officers to warn about the risks of speeding, particularly during bad weather.
