Weir Group gives Graham chief legal officer post
Glasgow-headquartered engineering heavyweight Weir Group has appointed Graham Vanhegan as its chief legal officer and company secretary.
Vanhegan joins from oil exploration and production giant Conocophillips where his roles have included deputy general counsel and most recently vice president of business development. He will be a member of Weir’s group executive and will join the firm on 1 April, becoming company secretary on 1 May, following Weir’s annual general meeting.
A graduate of the University of Glasgow, Vanhegan is a solicitor qualified to practice in both Scotland and England and is an attorney-at-law before the State Bar of New York.
