Frog hitchhikes to Scotland
Animal welfare workers are caring for a tiny frog which hitched a ride thousands of miles to the UK.
The frog, described as the “same size as a jam tart”, is thought to have jumped into a traveller’s suitcase while they were packing to go back to Scotland from South Africa.
The animal welfare charity was called on Tuesday when the frog was discovered by surprised holiday goers in Edinburgh. It was taken to the charity’s centre in the Balerno area of Edinburgh where he was named Terrence.
