Battle of biscuits

-

Columnist Brian Wilson opened a can of worms – or should that be biscuit tin? – when he said Nationalists who attacked Walker’s over a Union Flag tin are fanatics risking the Scottish economy.

I just hope Brian Wilson remembers to wrap himself in his precious “Butcher’s Apron” next time he attends a meeting of his branch of the wider Celtic family.

They aren’t advertising Scottish shortbread, they are advertising shortbread, and they are entitled to use whatever packaging they like

It’s quite frightening how many people on here are happy to see Scottish identity being slowly stripped away, regardless of how trivial it may seem. These small changes soon mount up, so ultimately it’s anything but petty... it’s about saving our proud identity.

Exactly what part of Muppetland do you hail from? “They can take our lives but they will never take our... BISCUITS!” Stop making us look as petty and ridiculous as you and your cult-following buffoons.

I would like to see an end to all countries with a single human identity. All this is causing is so much anomosity amongst the peoples of the world.

I’m ashamed yet again to have Scotland Associated with these loons. It’s embarrassing. This sort of stuff gets reported all over.

Identity is important to some people . I work throughout the UK and each region is very proud of its personal identity. Humans are tribal.
