Construction starts on new justice centre

Construction work on a new court and tribunals centre in Inverness has begun.

The Reiach & Halldesigned Inverness Justice Centre will feature a range of specialist facilities for children and young people. Eric Mcqueen, chief executive of the Scottish Courts and Tribunals Service, said: “The centre will represent the changing face of justice by including facilities and technology to remove the need for children to appear in person at court and to support the development of digital casemanagementforsummary crime in the future.”
