Woman, 24, subjected to sex attack

A 24-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in Livingston.

Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which took place on a footpath near Eliburn North Roundabout at around 4:45am yesterday.

Officers said the woman was walking when she was approached by a man who then assaulted her.

He is described as white, in his mid-20s, of medium build and around 5ft 10ins tall. He has dark brown hair and stubble, and was wearing a dark blue or black jumper and jeans. Anyone with information is asked to call 101.
