#OLDFIRM
There was an Old Firm classic at Ibrox as Celtic won a topsy-turvy encounter 3-2, despite falling behind twice and going down to 10 men. It was entertaining and engrossing @Themasterbucks enthused: “There really is no rivalry in English football comparable to the Old Firm. The level of football isn’t the highest but the intensity and tension on and off the pitch is something else.” @Sbienkowski tweeted: “What an incredible game of football. That Edouard goal felt like a knock-out punch. Rangers just had no response to it. Celtic showing why they’re the champions.” @Bbcchrismclaug said: “Great game at Ibrox. #Rangers impressive at times but #Celtic experience and quality shone through. Ntcham and Dembele immense.” @Barryanderson_ noted: “Good advert for Scottish football at Ibrox in front of the Sky Sports cameras. Five well-executed goals, lots of passion, a red card and plenty drama.” @meestah_sahmon offered: “Celtic definitely haven’t been as impressive this season compared to last, but performances like that are why they’re taking the title again. Impressive stuff. Handled that last half hour with 10 men with ease”
#AUSTERITY
Chancellor Philip Hammond was asked on Andrew Marr’s show if austerity was over. He replied that the public sector pay cap of 1% had been lifted. But others have pointed out austerity may have a broader definition. @Markdistef posted: “Marr: “Simple question, Is austerity over?” Hammond dithers and doesn’t answer.” @peterwalker99 tweeted: “Philip Hammond says “most people” take austerity to mean the public sector pay cap. Don’t think councils, or those facing benefit cuts, would see it in that way.”
#BESTMUSICERA
Missy Elliott had a question for her 6.5 million followers: what’s the best era of music? @Jameshillary stated: “The Kendrick Lamar era.” @Brimalandro offered: “the era when you came out.” @brooklynrwhite noted: “Every era has been unique and progressive in it’s own way. Impossible to choose!!” @Queenbabychick tweeted: “Possibly the 70s. Live instrumentals met techno. Nearly all the rap/ hip-hop beats use that music.”
