Back-to-back wins for Shiel

Marine Harvest Premiership champions Kinlochshiel followed up last week’s 4-0 win over Glenurquhart by beating Caberfeidh 5-3 at Castle Leod, writes Alasdair Bruce.

Caberfeidh’s Craig Morrison cancelled out John Macrae’s earlier opener before Jordan Fraser’s penalty and Duncan Macrae gave ‘Shiel a 3-1 half-time lead. Another from Fraser and Keith Macrae put ‘Shiel further ahead before Kevin Bartlett and Morrison got late consolations.

Goals from Dunky Kerr, Scott Macdonald, Roddy Macdonald and Thomas Whyte earned Kyles Athletic a 4-0 win against Kingussie at the Dunoon Stadium.

James Pringle gave Skye a 20-second lead against Lovat but Lewis Tawse (2) and Greg Matheson hit back for the visitors. Jordan Murchison replied for Skye but Matheson’s late second secured a 4-2 Lovat win.

Daniel Mackintosh gave Glenurquhart the lead against Oban Camanachd at Blairbeg but Lorne Dickie equalised late on.
