MUSSELBURGH TO RACE ON GOLD CUP DAY

Musselburgh Racecourse has announced that it will hold an extra meeting this Friday, which will coincide with Gold Cup day at this week’s Cheltenham Festival. The East Lothian track’s last fixture was wiped out by the inclement weather at the end of February and, with their next meeting not scheduled until Easter weekend, they have decided to add a further date to their calendar. Harriet Graham, the clerk of the course at Musselburgh, tweeted: “Extra fixture Friday 16th First Race 11.30 Good Good to Soft Places – Races on Racing Admin Site Mainly dry forecast entries close tomorrow.”
