Bertyfish All these polls. All the data. Every person questioned. The whole country, their dogs, cats and even their kids apparently don’t want independence yet no one wants to allow another referendum to close the issue for good.

Fifafofum Sturgeon would be utterly mad to call an indyref on the numbers that these polls are consistently producing.

Bung Too many polls going on, the majority of Scots do not want independence before 2021 or after 2021. The minority who do want it are prepared to live on a pittance for decades for the sake of waving two fingers at the English. They’re mad. The problem with contactless (in my case, anyway) was that I used it so often that I forgot my PIN.

Peem Birrell This will have a negligible effect provided contactless machines become more prevalent. I find it staggering that Edinburgh buses still do not have the facility to pay by card, technology which was introduced in London years ago.
