New chairs for IOD Fife and Tayside branches

New chairs have been announced for the Insti‑ tute of Directors’ branches in Fife and Tayside.

Sonia Cottom, director at Pain Association Scotland, has taken on the chairman‑ ship for IOD Tayside while Ian Collins, Bank of Scot‑ land area director for local banking in the Tayside and central Scotland area, has been appointed chair of the Fife branch.

David Watt, executive director of IOD Scotland, said: “Both Ian and Sonia are terrific leaders, who have strong track records in their respective areas of Scotland. Both have prov‑ en business successes, and will champion best prac‑ tice in the boardroom as well as drive positive devel‑ opment across Tayside and Fife’s business sectors.”
