Newsnight’s acting editor has hit back at claims the BBC current affairs show photoshopp­ed a picture of Jeremy Corbyn to make him look more Russian. .@Owenjones8­4 said: “The way [Newsnight] stitched up the Opposition leader to portray him as the stooge of a foreign power is, ironically, the sort of thing you expect on Russian state TV, and they must apologise in full and unreserved­ly. @NUFC_OURCLUB added: “@ Ofcom need to look at this scandalous coverage.” @_Salmananwa­r tweeted: “The Corbyn Moscow background is a standard background used by Newsnight.
