More redundancies at stricken Carillion
More workers at collapsed construction giant Carillion are to be made redundant, taking the total to almost 1,600.
The Official Receiver announced a further 46 employees will leave the business later this week.
Almost 8,600 jobs have been saved and 1,582 people made redundant since Carillion went into liquidation in January. Just over 7,000 employees have been retained to enable Carillion to deliver the remaining services it is providing for public and private sector customers.
